Fires:
  • Campfires must be in regulated firepits and cannot be left unattended
  • Firewood is available for purchase at the campground store, or campers can bring their own firewood
  • If you need your firepit cleaned, you can notify staff at the campground or you can phone Pam at 469-4803.

Quiet Time/Security:

  • 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. – noise should be kept to a minimum
  • Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time
  • Security of the Campground works best if we all work at it together

We do not have full-time security staff at the Campground but our staff will assist when and if they can. If someone is disturbing your peace, please consider talking to him or her directly to let him or her know they are disruptive. If you feel it is not safe or you are uncomfortable with the direct approach, you can try to locate one of  our staff if they are available, or you can contact the Big River RCMP at 469-2590. Our staff have been instructed not to intervene if they are of the opinion that to do so would put them in personal danger. They will call the RCMP for assistance instead.
